Frequently Asked

Answers on certification, treatments, shipping, returns, bespoke commissions, and the difference between a lab report and an appraisal.

Buying

Can I see a stone in person before I buy?

Yes. We welcome visits to our Central, Hong Kong premises by appointment. We can also arrange a video-call inspection or, for serious buyers, ship insured to a dealer or jeweller of your choosing for a viewing window.

How is provenance documented?

Each stone ships with the lab certificate, our internal provenance dossier (photos at acquisition, treatment history if applicable), and the original receipts where available.

What payment methods do you accept?

Wire transfer, AmEx, Visa, Mastercard, and cryptocurrency for select transactions. For purchases above USD 100,000 we recommend escrow.

Shipping

How are stones shipped?

FedEx Priority, fully insured to declared value, in a tamper-evident sleeve. We can arrange Brink's secure transport for stones above USD 250,000.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — currently to over 40 countries. We handle all documentation on your behalf.

Who pays import duties?

Duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility. We provide the customs invoice, HS code, and certificate of origin.

Treatments

Do all your stones disclose treatment status?

Yes — without exception. Treatment status is on the product page, on the certificate, and in the provenance dossier.

What does 'no oil' mean?

It means the laboratory found no detectable filler in the stone's fissures. It is a high bar. Most natural emeralds carry at least insignificant treatment; 'no oil' stones are rare and command a premium.

Returns

What is your return policy?

14-day return for any reason, on full ticket value. The stone must be returned in its original sleeve, with all certificates and documentation, by insured transport.
